I have always been attracted to paintings and photographs…somewhere in my early teens my dad gave me one of those tiny point and shoot cameras and the romance started with photography…the romance dipped because of studies and the expense related to photography at that time…many years later a new film camera made an appearance and once again the romance was revived ..this time around work played spoilt sport and the camera was taken out on occasions…cut to a few years later…digital camera gets bought…and the on again off again romance…becomes a “forever after love affair”… It has been a couple or more years where I have been clicking pretty much on a weekly basis…some times on a daily basis ..clicking everything from a gorgeous “orange”sunset over the Arabian sea to a single chappal lying deserted on a dirt track in pune, to my early morning cuppa of chai and so on and so forth In the past year I began to literally dream in frames…that’s when I knew this is my calling…I am learning every day...and am enjoying every moment of this learning curve... Nature and still life are my favorite subjects but I enjoy clicking people and architecture as well.. i recently had my first solo exhibition of multiple exposures....this genre of photography has given me immense pleasure and made me feel almost like a painter as i am able to create frames:)) i have now started selling prints...do mail me for details.. welcome to my world of frames...
